Terry Carmichael II (Mike), Co-Founder of LHD, is an accomplished business owner, and author of several books. He is a proud native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Mike discovered his desire to give back in 2008 when he opened his home to several disadvantaged youths and began to provide them with the opportunity to get a better education and see their potential. He taught them basic math and reading skills.

Because of his commitment to community, mentorship, and Christ, Mike contributes his time, treasure, and talents to support local and national nonprofit organizations that align with his personal mission and values. “I am very excited about LHD’s future and its continuation of building and developing future youth's talents.
